Dinosaur Dash - VOLUNTEERS

The Dinosaur Dash attracts local runners and families. With timed 5K and 10K races, a 2K fun run, and a Half Century (50k) Cycling Tour, there is an event for everyone. The Dinosaur Dash Expo features games, activities, information and a variety of food from local restaurants. We need volunteers like YOU to help make the Dinosaur Dash a success.

Volunteer Categories to Explore

BIKE TOUR - FULL!

Course Monitors—monitor the course in pairs at 2 locations
Start/Valet/Water/Post Race Nutrition—assist cyclists at start and finish area
Water Station—distribute water to cyclists

Course Monitors—monitor the course
Finish Line—collect runner’s numbers, hand out ribbons
Split Timers—call out times to runners
Start Line—assist with crowd control at 10K/5K/2K starts
Water Stations—distribute water to runners
As Needed on the Course

Food Court - FULL!

Distribute sodas/waters to guests, set up, clean up

Assist participants with parking directions

PRE-REGISTRATION - FULL!

Help staff the pre-registration and packet pick up the Friday and Saturday before the race.

Set Up/Signs - FULL!

Set up tables, chairs, banners, signs, and general assistance

Bounce House—supervise bounce house activity and have waivers signed
Clean Up—assist with clean up during the event
T-Shirts—distribute and organize t-shirts for participants - FULL!
Vendor Check In-assist vendors with check in
